Has anyone recieved $ from Marie Hansen?

Yes she did tell me to cash it and keep $1500 and then divide the remaining in two then send it to two people in London, UK.I first took it to my credit union and they said there would be a 30 day hold on it, but then I took it to Money Mart and they actually phoned the bank in Oklahoma and told them it was a fraud, not to cash it. If I did, I would have had to pay the $5000 back. I do hope this Marie Hansen person gets blocked from this website. It's cruel to lead the vulnerable on that like. Thanks for your replies guys. Keeps spreading the word to everyone on here, so that nobody else gets frauded.

Marie Hansen is a FRAUD! I recieved this check for $4900 and took it to my local money mart and they investigated it and it's ILLEGAL!! Why do crooks find vulnerable people like us? I've reported it to my local police station and they'll handle it. She is from Oklahoma so if anyone corresponds with her, STOP NOW! SCAMMERS! I am going to let the owners of this site know too. Spread the word, she says she's from a philanthropist organization, but it's all bologne. Thanks for listening. I do hope someone can restore my faith, I got so excited about it, ya know, and to find out it was just another crook trying to take advantage of someone already down and out! That's worse. Oh well I know God will prevail and look after me.

I got a private message from a "Maria Hansen" offering to send me the same amount and asked me to keep $1,500 and send the rest to two other people overseas. I just deleted it and didn't respond. Without knowing more information, it sounds like a scam, sorry to say. I would be extemely hesitant to cash the check. Any person who sends you money and wants you to send it to two or more other people is not legitimate. Don't cash that check! It's most likely a fraud. Im sure the bank will tell you the same thing. You risk the check bouncing and YOU will end up paying the consequences...literally$$$$$. Marsha
